Les phages tempérés sont des parasites ubiquitaires des bactéries, qui ont un impact considérable sur les populations bactériennes. Je m’intéresse à leur impact sur les populations bactériennes, en étudiant principalement deux aspects: d'une part leurs capacités d’évolution (taux de mutation et de recombinaison), et d'autre part la mortalité bactérienne qu'ils induisent dans l'intestin de souris gnotoxéniques. Ces deux aspects - taux de mutation et mortalité - sont essentiel pour évaluer leur rôle dans la dynamique des écosystèmes microbiens.
