Bactéries Pathogènes et Santé

Our team works on the pathophysiology of Clostridioides difficile infections, an anaerobic bacterium, a major enteropathogen in human and animal health, responsible for post-antibiotic diarrhea and pseudomembranous colitis. Four lines of research are currently developed around the study of this bacterium:

1.            Dysbiosis and infectious risk

2.            Study of the interactions of C. difficile with the digestive mucosa

3.            Study of the host response in virulence

4.            Development of therapeutic and diagnostic innovations
