Caroline Kothe is a PhD student in the Food Microbiome Ecology team. She studied Food Engineering at UFRGS (Brazil) with an exchange at AgroSup Dijon (2012-2013). Today, Caroline studies halophilic and halotolerant bacteria in French artisan cheeses and the microbial diversity of Brazilian traditional cheeses. Caroline is particularly interested in metagenomic and genomic approaches related to food products. PhD student at INRA Jouy-en-Josas (October 2017 - September 2020)Research theme: Technological characterization of cheese bacterial species poorly cultivable and newly characterized by metagenomics​
