After having worked as a laboratory technician in a medical analyses lab, I wished to orientate myself towards genetics and microbiology research. I therefore began my training as a Biological Engineer at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM). In 2006, I also completed a GRETA training internship in the "Nucleic Acids Metabolism and Bacterial Chromosome Organisation" team at the CGM in the CNRS in Gif-sur-Yvette, France, which pertained to the study of bacterial chromosome dynamics during the cell cycle of Escherichia coli.

From 2006 to 2007, I obtained a Research Technician contract in the "Control of Plant Ramifications" Team at the IJPB in INRA, Versailles, France, in the framework of an ANR project aiming to characterise a new vegetal hormone inhibiting ramification in the pea.
In 2007, I was awarded the title of Assistant Engineer, which allowed me to join the team Intégration Fonctionnelle des Processus Cellulaires into the pole BioSys at INRA in Jouy-en-Josas. My mission was to identify protein complexes involved in DNA metabolism and to characterize protein interaction surfaces by the Yeast-Two-Hybrid technique and its derivatives (functional dissection, Yeast-Three-Hybrid). I then studied the functionality of these complexes in vivo, in B. subtilis.

In 2015, I obtained my CNAM Engineer diploma and I joined the team ProCeD. I am now working on the study of other essential bacterial processes involving cytoskeleton protein complexes, as described in my project outline above.
