Vasa Radonić is senior researcher at Biosense Institute. He received the B.Sc. Magister and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Serbia, in 2004, 2007 and 2010 respectively. Dr Radonić was a research fellow at several universities: Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland, Stellenbosch University, South Africa, Saint-Petersburg Electrotechnical University "LETI," Saint Petersburg, Russia, and Technical University of Wien. He has authored and co-authored 2 book chapter, 20 journal papers, and more than 40 conference papers. Dr Radonić was a member of two international Technical Program Committees, and reviewer for a number of leading scientific journals. He lead 3 international projects and participates in several H2020, FP7, COST, Eureka and national research projects. Current research interests of Dr Radonić include design of Microfluidic devices, Development of sensors (microwave, optical and microfluidic), RF and Microwave passive components (filters, coupler, diplexer, etc.), Antennas and RFID systems, Periodical and artificial electromagnetic materials - metamaterials, and fabrication, measurements and characterization. Dr Radonić is the recipient of the award granted by EuMA for the best paper award at the international conference Mediterranean Microwave Symposium, MMS 2008 in Damascus, Syria, best paper award at the conference IcETRAN 2015, as well as the recipient of the annual awards of the Department of Power, Electronic and Telecommunication, at University of Novi Sad for outstanding scientific results in the 2008.
