Hulya Ilyasoglu is a PhD student in Food Science and Nutrition. She is a research assistant in Nutrition section of Food Engineering Department of Ege University, Izmir, Turkey. She has experience on in vitro digestion and bioaccessibility of macronutrients and bioactive compounds, evaluation of health benefits of food ingredients, with a special attention in designing healthier and nutritious foods by encapsulation and double emulsion technology. She has been working with Dr Marion Leclerc for Short Term Scientific Mission (STSM) under EU FA1403 Cost Positive Action. Thankful to Micalis Institute and Dr Marion Leclerc for providing her opportunity to study in gut microbiota.
