Post-doctoral engineer (October 2012 - August 2013)

Dr. Núria Mach received her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and her Ph.D degree in Animal Science from Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2008. Afterwards, in 2009, she was recruited for a postdoc at the Wageningen University focused on the emerging field of animal nutrigenomics. Once completed the first post-doc, in 2011, she moved to France to perform a post-doc in immunogenetics and genomics in the Animal Genetics and Integrative biology Unit (GABI) at the INRA centre of Jouy-en-Josas. Finally, from October 2012 to September 2013, she achieved her last post-doc within the Functionality of the Intestinal Ecosystem group (FinE) at the INRA centre of Jouy-en-Josas. The key activities undertaken in this experiment were mainly related to the phylogenetic analysis of the faecal microbiome of 31 French Large White pigs (sixty-days old; d60) at different age and their mothers’ (n=29 sows) by pyrosequencing of the 16S rRNA gene. She was recruited to the INRA as a research in September 2013. She currently is a researcher in GABI (INRA, France)
