Yamina Rayah

Engineer assistant (June 2019 - July 2020)

During my career, I worked both in pharmaceutical laboratories and in research laboratories (academic and private). I mainly worked there on research subjects with therapeutic aims such as cancer and Alzheimer's. With the aim of continuing to get involved in biomedical research projects, I joined the PhylHom team in June 2019 to work on the intestinal microbiota.

I participate in the Gumme project, the aim of which is to understand the impact of endocrine disruptors (phthalates, perfluorinated compounds, phenols) on the intestinal microbiota of children aged 0 to 3 whose mothers have been in contact with these disruptors during pregnancy. This project also aims to see if there is an impact on the neurological development of the child.

I also participate in the Notch project, which is interested in understanding the link between the bacterium Streptococcus gallolyticus and the development of colon cancer.
