Recently graduated from Paris 11 University of Pharmacy (PharmD in July 2019), I wanted to work in the research field, particularly in microbiological research. This is the reason why I integrated the Micalis team “BaPS: Bactéries pathogènes et Santé” in October 2019 as a PhD student, under supervision of Dr Thomas Candela.

During my academic career, I made several internships in the research field since I took a very early interest in microbiology. These internships allowed me to discover different topics: first microbial biofilms (BaPS team, 3^rd and 4^th year internships), then intestinal microbiota and its implication in cancer disease (PhylHom team, 5^th year internship) and finally genetics and surface polysaccharides of C. difficile (BaPS team, Master 2 internship). I did IMVI “Infectiology: Microbiology, Virology and Immunology” Master 2 (Paris 7 University & Pasteur Institute) and so completed the Fundamental Microbiology Pasteur Course (2 months).

Now, I am doing my PhD following my master 2 internship, in the same team and on the same subject. I study two surface polysaccharides of C. difficile, their synthesis genes and their vaccinal and therapeutic potential.
